Mite Head Coach: Scott Stonefield

Head Coach Stonefield

Coach Scott grew up playing hockey south of Boston, at his highest level he played two years for the University of Illinois, ACHA Division II. Coach Scott has been coaching youth hockey since 1998 and is a certified USA Level IV coach. He has coached for the East Coast Eagles with Coach Andrew Barron for the past 5 years at the Squirt, Peewee, and Bantam levels. True to his love of the game, he continues to play in adult leagues in Raleigh.

 

Mite Assistant Coach: Doug Cote

Assistant Coach Cote

Coach Doug grew up playing youth hockey in Lewiston, Maine where his father was a hockey coach. He joined the Army at age 18 and did not start playing again until 2002 when he was stationed at Fort Bragg. In 2005 Doug ran the developmental mini-mite league at Fort Bragg and in 2006 coached with CFYHA in Fayetteville. Coach Doug still plays in the men’s league at Fort Bragg and runs hockey clinics in Fayetteville. Doug is a certified level II USA hockey coach.
