Player Development Coach: Tom Lenox

Coach Lenox In addition to being head coach of the ECE Junior B team, the East Coast Eagles are excited that Coach Tom Lenox will also be leading the weekly skills development and power skating practices this season for our Squirt, Peewee, and Bantams teams. Coach Lenox brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the program. Lenox most recently worked as an Assistant Coach for the San Jose Sharks organization in their new China Sharks franchise, which is part of the Asian Ice Hockey League. Prior to that, Lenox spent two years as the Head Coach of Men’s Hockey at Carleton College, guiding the team to its first ever league playoffs and preparing for NCAA status. Lenox spent two years as the Junior B Head Coach of the Dubuque Thunderbirds (MNJHL), and served as an Assistant Coach at St. Olaf College (NCAA Div III), and the University of Alabama-Huntsville (NCAA, Div I). He was an Assistant Coach with the Rochester Mustangs (USHL) and a US Scout for the Tri-City Americans (WHL). Lenox graduated from University of Wisconsin-Superior with a degree in Communications and a minor in Health/Wellness. Earlier in his career, Lenox spent more than 10 summers instructing at Minnesota Hockey camps focusing on basic hockey fundamentals and conditioning,
