The East Coast Eagles Advantage

  • Non Parental Coaching
  • The coaching staff is the backbone of any hockey organization and the East Coast Eagles are very selective. East Coast Eagle coaches bring a wealth of playing and coaching experience to their teams. Having non-parental head coaches has enabled us to avoid many of the fairness and perception issues that seem tough to avoid when even the best intentioned parents coach.

  • Highly Organized
  • Game and practice schedules, as well as all tournament dates, are set before the start of the season. Families can plan with confidence their daily routine for car pools and school, as well as holidays and other important matters well in advance.

  • Independent Scheduling
  • The East Coast Eagles pioneered the concept of the independent schedule here in the Carolinas. East Coast Eagle youth teams play a non-league competitive schedule that is designed for each team to end the season with approximately a .500 record. This proven philosophy and method now being adopted by others results in game skill development. This approach also gives the club the flexibility and control in scheduling both Tier I and Tier II teams and a variety of tournaments to match the team’s competitive skill level.
